USE THE LINE RESPONSIBLY
Acceptable Use Policy
Effective September 3, 2026
This policy protects queue participants, business users, providers, and the LinesFly service. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service.
1. Lawful and fair use
Use LinesFly only for a lawful queue or walk-in workflow. Do not use it to discriminate unlawfully, misrepresent who is next, deceive customers, impersonate another person or organization, invade privacy, harass or threaten anyone, or facilitate fraud or illegal activity.
2. Messaging
Do not send marketing, promotions, political messages, fundraising, unrelated reminders, or bulk campaigns through transactional queue SMS. Do not use purchased, rented, scraped, guessed, or third-party contact lists. Consent must be affirmative, specific to visit updates, and optional. Opt-outs must be honored promptly.
3. Sensitive data
Do not request or enter medical diagnoses, symptoms, treatment details, health-insurance data, Social Security or government ID numbers, passwords, payment-card numbers, bank details, precise financial data, criminal-history information, biometric identifiers, or other unnecessary sensitive content. Keep configured intake questions limited to what staff truly need to route the visit.
Do not submit protected health information regulated by HIPAA unless Lead Better LLC and the covered organization have first signed a separate Business Associate Agreement. A health-related business name or use case does not by itself make LinesFly authorized for PHI.
4. Children and vulnerable people
Do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 without a legally compliant parental-consent process. A parent, guardian, or authorized adult should join a minor to the line when needed. Do not exploit, profile, or make consequential decisions about vulnerable people through LinesFly.
5. Security and platform integrity
You may not:
- probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without written permission;
- bypass access controls, rate limits, plan limits, or security checks;
- access another organization’s data or another person’s status link;
- upload malware or interfere with service availability;
- automate scraping, account creation, joins, or messages;
- reverse engineer or resell the service unlawfully; or
- share credentials or private status links with unauthorized people.
6. High-risk and emergency use
LinesFly is not for emergency dispatch, urgent medical triage, public safety, incarceration decisions, credit, employment eligibility, housing, insurance underwriting, or any workflow where a delay, missed message, estimated wait, or service interruption could reasonably cause serious harm or determine a legal right.
7. Enforcement
We may investigate credible reports; remove content; limit messaging; suspend a line, account, or organization; preserve evidence; or notify authorities when reasonably necessary. We will consider context, severity, repetition, and safety and will provide notice and a chance to cure when appropriate.
