YOUR DATA. CLEARLY EXPLAINED.

Privacy Policy

1. Scope and our role

This policy applies to LinesFly websites, account tools, staff dashboards, public join pages, status pages, emails, and transactional text messages. It does not govern a business customer’s own website, services, intake practices, or the page a business chooses for a post-visit redirect.

For account, website, security, and billing administration, Lead Better LLC determines why and how information is processed. For queue data a business collects from its own customers, that business determines the purpose and fields it uses, and LinesFly processes the information to provide the service. The business should provide any additional notice its law or industry requires. Our Data Processing Addendumapplies to that processing.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, password credential data, staff role, organization membership, and account activity.
  • Business configuration: business and location names, addresses, time zones, industries, line and service settings, staff invitations, QR destinations, and optional post-visit links.
  • Queue visit information: customer-entered name, optional mobile number, requested service, ticket label, place in line, visit status, timestamps, and the business’s configured intake responses.
  • Messaging and consent records: whether and when transactional SMS consent was given, consent source and version, message event, delivery status, opt-out status, and a protected recipient reference.
  • Billing information: plan, location quantity, subscription and invoice status, billing period, and payment-provider references. Stripe processes full card or bank details; LinesFly does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.
  • Device, security, and usage information: IP address and related request details, browser and device information, essential session data, a device token stored in the browser for duplicate-join protection, rate-limit data, audit events, and error or abuse signals.
  • Website audience measurement: a random first-party visitor identifier, pages viewed, first landing page, first referring domain, and campaign parameters included in a LinesFly link. This analytics record does not contain the visitor’s name, email address, phone number, message content, or raw IP address.
  • Communications: information included in support, privacy, security, or billing messages sent to us.

3. Sources of information

We receive information directly from account holders, staff, and people joining a line; automatically from browsers and service activity; from a business that adds a walk-in or invites a staff member; and from service providers such as Stripe, Twilio, Resend, Cloudflare, and our hosting infrastructure when they return service, delivery, security, or transaction details.

4. How we use information

  • create and secure accounts and organization access;
  • operate the live line, private status page, and staff dashboard;
  • estimate wait time and create operational and aggregate analytics;
  • understand website traffic, signup conversion, and which public pages and campaigns help business owners discover LinesFly;
  • send requested account emails and consented transactional queue messages;
  • process subscriptions, invoices, usage allowances, and credits;
  • prevent duplicate joins, spam, fraud, unauthorized access, and misuse;
  • provide support, maintain reliability, and improve the service; and
  • comply with law and protect people, LinesFly, and our customers.

5. How information is disclosed

We may disclose personal information only as reasonably necessary:

  • To the business operating the line. Authorized owners, managers, and staff can view information for their own organization according to their role.
  • To service providers. Infrastructure, security, email, messaging, and payment providers process limited information under contract to provide their services. See our Subprocessor List.
  • For legal and safety reasons. We may respond to lawful process, enforce agreements, investigate abuse, or protect rights, safety, and service integrity.
  • For a business transaction. Information may be reviewed or transferred as part of a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate protections.

LinesFly does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use queue data to build advertising profiles. We do not display customer names, phone numbers, or intake answers on public queue pages.

6. Retention and deletion

  • Customer-identifying queue fields are anonymized after 90 days: the name is replaced, the phone number and device reference are removed, and the private status token is retired. Non-identifying operational events and totals may remain so the business can understand its line.
  • Account and business configuration data remain while the account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, secure the platform, or meet legal and accounting duties.
  • An organization-deletion request disables access and schedules the organization’s service data for deletion after a seven-day recovery window. A deletion may be held briefly if billing cancellation cannot be safely confirmed.
  • Authentication sessions normally expire after 30 days. Password-reset links expire after one hour. Expired security and abuse records are removed on a rolling basis.
  • Consent, suppression, transaction, audit, backup, fraud-prevention, and legal records may be kept longer where reasonably necessary or required by law.

7. Cookies and browser storage

LinesFly uses essential technologies for sign-in, security, abuse prevention, and duplicate-join protection. We do not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking. Details are in our Cookie Notice.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

Account holders can update profile and business settings, change their password, remove eligible staff access, and request account or organization deletion from the product. Anyone may opt out of queue texts by replying STOP or another recognized opt-out request. Browser status remains available without SMS.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or an explanation of processing; to object or withdraw consent; and to appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right. We may need to verify identity and authority before acting.

For account or LinesFly website data, email privacy@linesfly.com. For information submitted to a particular business’s queue, contact that business first because it controls the visit record. We will assist the business with a verified request when required.

9. U.S. state privacy disclosure

The categories collected in the preceding 12 months are identifiers; account and customer records; commercial and subscription information; internet, device, and security activity; approximate location inferred from network information; and inferences limited to queue operations, such as estimated wait or service demand. These categories are used and disclosed for the business purposes described above. LinesFly does not sell or share these categories for targeted advertising and does not offer financial incentives for personal information.

10. Sensitive information and health-related use

LinesFly is designed for basic queue operations, not medical records, diagnoses, treatment details, insurance information, government ID numbers, financial account credentials, or other unnecessary highly sensitive content. Unless Lead Better LLC and a covered organization have signed a separate Business Associate Agreement, LinesFly must not be used to create, receive, maintain, or transmit protected health information regulated by HIPAA. See the Acceptable Use Policy.

11. Children

LinesFly business accounts are for adults and are not directed to children under 13. A parent, guardian, or authorized adult should enter a minor’s queue information when needed. Do not configure LinesFly to knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13 without first establishing a legally compliant parental-consent process. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information improperly.

12. Security and international processing

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service, including encrypted network connections, hashed credentials and private identifiers, role-based organization access, signed provider webhooks, rate limits, and private status tokens. No security method is perfect, so we cannot promise absolute security.

LinesFly and its providers may process information in the United States and other places where they operate. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or additional protection, we will use an appropriate contractual or legal mechanism.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product or law changes. We will post the revised effective date and provide additional notice when a change materially affects how information is used.
